Madokaran at Denpasar

Madokaran is part of the Denpasar Heritage City Tour program, which was initiated by the Mayor of Denpasar, I Gusti Ngurah Jaya Negara, and implemented by the Denpasar Tourism Office. The program aims to introduce tourist attractions in the City of Denpasar, especially those related to the existence of Denpasar as a Heritage City. The Gajah Mada Heritage Area is a cultural heritage area that stretches from Jalan Thamrin in the west to the Patung Catur Muka in the east. In this area, people of Chinese, Arab, Indian, and Javanese descent have lived side by side with Balinese people for over a century. Not only does it form a community bond that carries the largest traditional trading center and the oldest business district in Bali, but it is also evidence of the continuity of multiculturalism in Bali.
